Brisa is a BHT-level therapist currently working toward her licensure as a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC). She graduated with her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northern Arizona University (CACREP-accredited) in the summer of 2026.

Brisa is a therapist who believes people don't need to be "fixed" or "cured”; they need a safe and stable place where they can explore patterns, experience reconnection with what’s important to them, and find their motivation to grow. She sees therapy as a collaborative process, rooted in the belief that people hold the innate capacity to heal when given the right environment, support, and tools. In practice, this means her work centers on building genuine rapport and validating the reality of her clients' struggles whilst also providing practical techniques for creating change.

With over four years in the mental health field, Brisa has worked alongside a diverse range of clients navigating OCD, anxiety, depression, trauma, identity development, self-image, relationship dynamics, and existential concerns. She is especially drawn to working with people who are feeling stuck in old patterns; wanting to discover who they are and who’d they’d like to be; and desiring to create a life full of meaning and purpose.

Brisa draws from an integrative blend of Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Existential Therapy, and Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP). Rather than trying to eliminate difficult thoughts, feelings, or fears, these modalities help clients foster new relationships with them; ones which make room for curiosity, compassion, and true change.
