Troy is a Licensed Associate Counselor and is a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary with his MS in Marriage and Family Therapy. Troy’s aim is to create a safe space for clients to explore their internal world and gain awareness of what keeps them stuck in painful thoughts, emotions, behaviors and relationships. His passion is to help clients learn tangible skills to relate to their mental health differently, so that life can become more meaningful, joyful, and peaceful. He is trained from a family systems perspective, which helps him to see clients as part of the larger context of their family, community, and culture. Troy sees each of his clients as a unique individual, and tailors his treatment plan accordingly.

Modalities:

Troy enjoys working with adolescents, adults, families and couples. His primary therapeutic framework is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). He will also incorporate Internal Family Systems for clients with trauma and Restoration Therapy with couples and families.
