Paulina Martin Clelland is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern completing her master's at William & Mary. She graduated with her degree in history from the College of the Holy Cross and before entering the counseling field, spent time working in a shelter for pregnant women and teaching high schoolers.
Paulina works with adults, teenagers, and couples facing anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and the fundamental questions of who they are and who they want to become. She has a particular passion for the postpartum period and identity development. Drawing largely from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), existential, and somatic approaches, she helps clients get clear on what matters most to them and start living toward it. Paulina believes that healing requires listening to both mind and body.
Outside of the therapy office, Paulina enjoys spending time with her husband, reading her latest library checkout, learning new skills at CrossFit, and visiting her family on the east coast.
