EMDR

If you feel that you've had trouble making progress in individual therapy by simply "talking about your trauma" then you might need to utilize a more somatic or body based approach. Gina is an expert in helping people become unstuck. She is certified in Brainspotting, which is a powerful, focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing and releasing core neurophysiological sources of emotional/body pain, trauma, and a variety of other challenging symptoms.

She has additional training in Somatic and Attachment Focused EMDR, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Imago Dialogue Therapy, and Parts Work.  She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has completed her master’s degree from Arizona State University.  She has a passion for working with individuals who have experienced trauma in either adulthood or childhood.  Nox, the therapy dog, joins Gina in sessions for added support.
